Pastor Curl Oral Hazell, M. Div. | Senior Pastor

Curl Oral Hazell became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1989. He received his spiritual nurturing primarily at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, located in Queens, NY, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Roderick R. Caesar. While at Bethel, Curl served for many years in various capacities, including co-youth director, Sunday school teacher, and deacon.

Over time, he felt impressed by the Lord to engage in in-depth theological study and reflection. His journey in pursuit of that goal includes an Associate in Biblical Studies at the Bethel Bible Institute and a Master of Divinity degree at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, where he graduated at the top of his class summa cum laude.

Upon graduating from Seminary in 2003, Curl was ordained as a minister under Bethel Gospel Tabernacle Fellowship International. Having received the full blessing of Bishop Caesar and the Bethel ministries, in 2005, Curl migrated to Conyers, GA, and in answer to the call of God to pastor, founded Agape Fellowship Christian Center–a vibrant ministry for the entire family. In addition to his ministry portfolio, Curl is a licensed practicing pharmacist, having licensure in the states of New York and Georgia.

Curl is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) Prophetic Urban Ministry Program at New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He is the author of “Real Faith in Action: the demonstration of nine principles that characterize authentic faith.” To learn more and to order, click here
